Tropical Walldryx are species of Exotic Walldryx. Their places of residence are located near mangroves in the Tamao Region. These Walldryx are frugivores and herbivores.

Tokaïhi is a young Walldryx Tropical, he has a brother called Hoani. 

 

He is also called "Prince Tokaïhi". He must protect his small population of Tropical Walldryx and his land. What fears the most are... Aróos and his minions of Venomous Walldryx who often threaten to take possession of their lands. And also fire creatures like Fire Walldryx and Vermilion Walldryx. In their cultures, the red creatures are considered creatures of the "devil" who can kill harmless species like theirs. His little brother Hoani does not completely share these ideas. He is very attached to his land, his sometimes “microcosm” culture and the traditions of the Tamao region such as the great mango festival.

Unfortunately, Tokaïhi lacks the authority to make himself heard when Hoani provokes him. Even if he tries to raise his voice, it doesn't scare Hoani. Despite everything, he knows He knows how to recognize his mistakes that he has a lot of work to do to honor the Walldryx Tropicaux.

At the end of April 2021, I wondered the last time I created a Walldryx. And that went back to January 2020 with Teyns. That's 1 and a half years. So, I tried to create a new Walldryx for 2021.

For his design, I was inspired by an old character that I created in 2009.

Then traveling to the Gorges du Verdon in May 2021, I drewHoani. And also I took advantage of the exceptional natural setting of the place to take inspiration from the landscape.
