Snow-white Walldryx! These species live in the mountain peaks that extend from Vidalos-Valley to Kastell. To see them, you have to be patient! Either to travel the mountain in order to wait for the highest peak, or for the snow to invade the plain regions so that the Polar Walldryx descend to the plain to the delight of the inhabitants. Which is extremely rare in the main towns in Urrakia. Only southern Kastell and a large part of Vidalos-Valley may be covered in snow.

Pyrene,sometimes called“Mama Pyrene” lives on top of the Mountains in the Vidalos-Valley region not far from Kastell. She is the mother of two children, a boyBlyzi and a daughterFrozena. She is somewhat overwhelmed by thehe whims of these children. Especially Blyzi who is annoying towards Frozèna. But Frozèna has some problems because she often has a jaded face and she is very lazy.

When Blyzi annoys her sister to try to motivate her to move, Pyrene is in turn forced to run left and right to avoid any danger. Because, children can sometimes escape the gaze of Pyrene to venture far, very far to find themselves in the city center of Kastell or in Vidalos-Valley. From then on, it is a long, perilous and worrying adventure that Pyrene must undertake.

Beyond Pyrène's misadventures with her children, she shows composure with humor and self-deprecation to face these situations.

Pyrene is very attached to her environment. She savors the beauty of the landscape, the calm far from the hubbub of cities and mass tourists in certain Kingdoms. ​

She hates big cities and metropolises and even more so when she finds herself stuck and carried away by the crowd.

Character creation​

 

During a stay in the Hautes-Pyrénées in Cauterets in September 2019, I entered a grocery store that I know very well in the city center. During a conversation between a customer and the store manager, a sentence caught my attention. It was about the animals in the area. Notably the presence of Snow Partridges nearby. 

So an idea immediately came to my mind to imagine a new White Walldryx called “Walldryx des Neiges”  It is thanks to this idea that since then, I began to create large varieties of Walldryx species with colors other than gray. Another detail, Pyrene had only one tail instead of nine. 

In December 2023, I made an alternative color of Pyrene with a summer coat similar to the polar fox.

Pyrene has received several anonymous letters from a Walldryx Polar from Tauraldo. Wishing to discover thismysteriouscharacter, she will have to face her anxiety to move around big cities and all the othersadventures with his children.
